Our club, Soroptimist International of Phoenix, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Phoenix, AZ. For 88 years, we have been helping women and girls attain their educational goals and, as a result, better their lives and the lives of their families.
Arizona has an incredible resource for taxpayers to make an impact in their local communities and we just received approval to be part of it! The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit allows taxpayers to make a charitable contribution to an eligible nonprofit and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against their AZ state taxes. In 2024 the limits are up to $470 for a single taxpayer and $983 for a married taxpayer. We are a qualifying organization (#22517) for this tax credit. You can take advantage of this credit to help those most in need in our community, and reduce your taxes!
