Desert Roads and Trails Society educates the public and off-road enthusiasts on the proper use of equipment, off-road recovery, safety, and the wise use of public lands and trails. The society maintains and improves roads and trails for off-road use and provides a positive experience to share the trails with others. Each January, they conduct the Winter 4x4 Jamboree, a four-day experience for off-road enthusiasts that raises money and awareness for public trails and land managed by the BLM while providing instruction and training about proper off-road use and skills. Excess funds are donated to non-profits and government agencies to help maintain and keep public trails open. Additionally, they constructed a 5-acre staging area to provide a safe access point for off-road vehicles to Sand Hollow Mountain's trails. Desert Roads and Trails Society is located in St George, UT.
